Boat Trip at Manavgat River will be on 9th October Friday, between 18.00 - 20.30.

• Side, Aspendos and Manavgat Waterfall Travel will be on 10th October, 2009 Saturday, between 15.00 - 22.00.

Popular In Aspendos

You probably have heard Aspendos and its four famous monuments, theater, the stadium, the aqueduct and agora.

The architect of Aspendos, Zenon built the theater in the final of the 2nd century during Marcus Aurelius’ rule. It is really surprising that this old theater is still in use at present, since they are very well preserved. With a facility with 15,000 seats and commendable acoustics of the hall is really a miracle and amazing to be true.

Located north of the theater is 215 m long stadium. Surprisingly, it is in a good condition of their seats with built-in over vaulted galleries and lined with shops on the east side.

Manavgat Waterfall

Manavgat is located a few kilometers away from Side. You’ll enjoy breathing in the cool and fresh air of this town. During this daily trip, you’ll explore the Manavgat falls. Although the Manavgat falls are not located on a very high point, the waters fall down with a great force. Waterfall, which are 3 km. north of Manavgat province, have the same name with province. It composes a valuable to see panorama with its high flow on a wide area although it falls from an amazing height.

Side

Side is situated on the Mediterranean coast approximately 75 kilometers from one of Turkey's largest cities' Antalya . This unique seaside resort lies on a small, flat peninsula is just packed to the brim with archaeological wonders and surrounded on both sides by the deep, blue water of the Med. Side has just everything you could want. For the culture – vulture there is obviously a treasure chest of ancient history all around which includes: The Amphitheatre dating back to Hellenistic period and is one of the largest (after Aspendos) in Turkey seating approximately 15,000 people; The Roman Temples of Apollo and Artemis; The City Gates; Aqua ducts and Museum. One of the most enjoyable experiences is walking through these ruins at night when all are illuminated.
